Travel

We have been fortunate enough to travel outside of Buenos Aires a bit and explore what else Argentina/South America has to offer. Here is a synopsis of places we've been and people/things that we recommend.

• Bariloche
• Hotel Tunquelen - Located at km 24.5 right on the water, within walking distance of the pier where many of the lake tour boats depart and the beautiful Llao Llao Hotel.  

• Cordoba
• Estancia: Sierra Brava - Dove hunting lodge located an hour north of Cordoba city.

• Easter Island, Chile

• Estancias
• La Candelaria -  Located outside of Lobos, 115 km outside of Buenos Aires city. This estancia is a great place for couples or families with kids.  Lots of outdoor activities and comfortable rooms. 
• La Oriental - Located near the small town of Junin, 250 km outside of Buenos Aires city.  This estancia is a renovated old home that makes for the perfect place for horseback riding, swimming and relaxing.  
• San Ceferino - Located on Rt. 6 just before Lujan, 100km outside of Buenos Aires city.  This estancia is a great place for a corporate event or a family weekend in the country.  Activities include horseback riding, swimming, biking, soccer & carriage rides.
• Villa Maria - Located 45 minutes outside the city, 15 minutes beyond Ezeiza airport.  Beautiful old house with large, apartment-style suites available.  Horseback riding, bicycles, gorgeous pool and grounds.  

• El Calafate

• Iguazu Falls

• Mendoza
